KENTUCKY MUSEUM OF ARTS + DESIGN

http://www.kentuckyarts.org/

In conjunction with their upcoming exhibition,
"An Exploration of Polymer Clay", KMA+D has organized workshops that will provide a wonderful introduction to polymer clay for the beginner as well as some new ideas and techniques for the more experienced clayer.

"Something Different with Polymer Clay"
with James Lehman

March 6, 2004
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Join artist James Lehman as he guides you through the various processes related to his unique approach to polymer clay. Participants will create a vessel form and some solid spheres that will be extremely colorful and a bit larger than the typical polymer clay piece - expect to use a lot of clay and employ a lot of color! James will also instruct on wet sanding and finishing techniques so your creation will have a glass-like appearance and rich luster. For more information on James’ work, visit his website at www.akrobiz.com/pc/

The class is five hours for $30, limited to 20 people, paid in advance, non-refundable, unless the workshop is cancelled. If you pay for the class and are unable to attendand and you give notice 10 days or more before the workshop, KMA+D will issued you coupon for another workshop. If you cancel less than 10 days prior, you forfeit your registration fee. For more information or to reserve your place in the class today contact Shayne Hull at the museum.
